Effective August 18, 2006. Changes to the CATSA Aerodrome Disignation Regulations.
A screening authority shall not permit a passenger to pass beyond a screening checkpoint unless
the screening authority ensures that the passenger is not in possession of liquids, gels or aerosols except the following. Baby formula-milk and baby food in small containers if an infant is travelling. Prescription medicine -liquid and gel- with a name that matches the passengers ticket. Essential non-prescription medicines not to exceed 120mL per container, to include saline solution and eye care products such as eye drops and contact lens solution. Liquids or gels for diabetic passengers limited to no greater than 148mL
